one of the benefits of taking a break from the distractions of life, you find time for the simple pleasures.

for me, a simple pleasure is crafting.

crocheting has my heart, but there is something really gratifying about placing paper and tape or fabric and string to form something fun.

i've been spending my afternoons creating little projects, lately simple tags.

i wanted to share a few of them today. so simple. so easy. i'm pretty sure that most of you have these items already. #craftsupplyhoardersunite


supplies >>> brown or white kraft tags, paper doilies, crochet thread, twine, glue stick, double stick tape, embellishments of your choice

>>> trace the tag outline on the back of the doily. affix to the tag using glue or double stick tape.

>>> affix your embellishment using double stick tape. i used a streamer that i sewed and fringed. i have been making lots of these in so many colors. it is so quick and easy. add a length of twine or thread to make a hanger. voila! you have a lovely, simple tag!
