house beautifcation -- crafty room.

I have been working here and there on making my room a happy, crafty place. I am really loving how it's all coming together. Here's what I have been up to...

These are some drawings the girls made me--cupcake ones. {sigh} I also have my life verse {1 Thessalonians 4:11} that I made one afternoon while the girls and I were playing with watercolors. I was really surprised it turned out so well. Big Sis also made me this cheery Hawaiian cupcake. I absolutely adore it.

I finally added some fun cupcake fabric to the embroidery hoops! Yay! They have been hanging on the wall empty for too long. I grabbed this adorable yellow clock at Target. It goes perfectly!

I also made these lights to go in there. It was too much to have a flower on every light so I ended up spacing them out every third light, for the most part. They are perfect. It casts this lovely glow in the evenings while I am crafting. LOVE!

While I was organizing and making this space easier to navigate, I couldn't resist organizing and beautifying my controllers and adding a bit of cupcake love {drawn by Big Sis} to my basket of ribbons. Yep, I'm a nerd. ☺

I also organized all of my Sharpies. I kind of have too many like them a lot. They kept cluttering up the drawer in the kitchen that has a little bit of everything in it. It drove David NUTS. So now they are organized and cute and won't drive anybody nuts.

I had a large stack of grannies in my yarn drawer that I just crocheted together into this simple bunting. I had originally planned to make them into a blanket, but I got bored of making stacks and stacks of them. I love that my room now has a little bit of crochet loveliness.

I grabbed some more jars at IKEA to keep my spools of thread, these fun plastic cupcakes my mom got us, and buttons. My table is more organized and happy. ☺

This is my crafty room all together, yay! More later...☺
